SBS National Languages Competition which, already begins on August 26th and end September 28th is an excellent opportunity for your students to apply their lesson from the classroom to a real-world situation.
To encourage and celebrate a love of learning languages in Australia, please send the request to community schools participate in this competition.
The nationwide competition aims in engaging all Australians who are learning a language reflect on the cultural, linguistic and ethnic diversity of the country’s multicultural society.
CLA request to community schools:
We would like to ask that you share this opportunity with your students by either announcing this in the class or by sending an email to them.
The best way to participate, although not required, would be to include the contest as an assignment in your classroom as extra credit.
