The AFMLTA is currently developing a national languages education plan and strategy for Australia. Community language school teachers are invited to focus groups to provide input and feedback to the plan in August. As seats are limited, please make sure to register your interest.
This is a unique opportunity to provide valuable input to the national languages education plan and strategy for Australia, which the AFMLTA is currently developing: Teachers in community languages schools are invited to participate in an online focus group. The focus groups will provide opportunities to give feedback on the National Languages Plan and Strategy's draft goals and recommendations.
There will be up to 30 participants in each of the focus groups. Please click on the link below and follow the link on the website to express your interest in attending a focus group.
Focus groups are held online (via Zoom) and take one hour. Here are the date and times of the two focus groups:
- Monday 9 August, 4pm – 5pm AEST
- Wednesday 25 August, 6pm – 7pm AEST
Please make sure to only register for these timeslots, as they are the only two focus groups specifically for community language school teachers.
